The High Line and a Childish Gambino concert

The High Line and Jen's Birthday

In August, we visited The High Line in Manhatten. It's a former elevated subway that was turned into a long park after the city bought it.
It overlooks a lot of pretty views in Manhatten, and also has a lot of trees and flowers.
There are also sculptures throughout the park. There are a lot of fancy and unique buildings that overlook the park as well.

We had dinner at a german restaurant called Radegast. The sauerkraut was awesome!

Childish Gambino Concert

At the end of August, we went to see Childish Gambino in concert. He is a rap artist who Jacob and I have both liked for a really long time and we've never seen him live before
He played at the Barclays Center, which is normally a huge baseketball stadium. The artist Willow opened for him. She was really good, she had a beautiful singing voice. The Barclays Center is huge and our seats were really really high up. But the concert itself was awesome, there were really cool effects. There were lasers, dancers, and images projected onto lights hanging from the ceiling. It was a great show.
