It feels like its been longer and shorter at the same time but somehow we are already at our one year anniversary of moving to new york. This will be a short one to collect some things we missed blogging about and a few new things we did in the last year. Here's to another great year in the greatest city on earth!

This is us before we left last year.

And this is Jen one year in New York.

And this is Jacob one year in New York.

Josh and fam visited! Hey everyone!

Jackson also visited us! Hi Jackson!

Lamb pizza from a place near our apartment, Lala's pizza. I've never had lamb on pizza but it is very good.

Here is a great mirror selfie of us all eating at the classic hotdog spot, Papaya King

We saw Kevin Smith on his Dogma tour and he did a Q&A after the movie.

Jen and I biked over the Williamsburg bridge. There is a whole separate bike lane for cyclists.

We also went to the Bronx Zoo with our friends Abbie and Ross.

The Bronx zoo is massive, and it has this cool monorail that you can ride to see into some of the enclosures.

Big ol' gorilla at the Bronx Zoo

We rode the carousel because we are still big children. It was actually pretty fun. Instead of horses it has all kinds of bugs!

Random boot I saw while on a run. This struck me as art so I stopped to take a pic.

Another 4th of July, another rooftop fireworks show. This is from the view of our apartment this time

Jacob's favorite pizza place: L'Industrie

Jacob at his favorite bar Banter watching a FC Cincinnati match. There is a whole supporters group that meets there to watch the matches.

While out at dinner randomly, an artist painted this portrait of us and surprised us with it as we were leaving. The artist's name is Luch (@art_by_luch on Instagram, go check him out!)
Thanks again for reading our blog everyone, I hope you have enjoyed keeping up with our adventures over the last year. See you in the next post!
