It's November!
Sorry we haven't posted in a while! Everything has been going fine, we just haven't been posting. After a busy summer(We traveled to Salem, MA, we went hoe to visit and for a friends wedding, Jacob went to California for work, and then we went to Florida with Jen's family). We've been having a quieter few months. Work is going great for both of us and the cats are as spoiled as ever. Since we didn't make it home for Thanksgiving (we promise we'll come home to visit soon!), Jacob and I made a Thanksgiving dinner for two. We cooked a turkey breast, it was our first time ever trying to cook a turkey. It turned out great but it took a lot of time. I can't imagine how much work a whole turkey is!
Florida 2025
In October, we went to Islamorada, Florida with my family again. It was an awesome time as usual. Even though it rained a lot, it was still really nice. When it wasn't raining, the weather was perfect. We also grilled out a lot, which Jake and I loved, because we can't really grill at our apartment! We spent lots of time on the beach and lots of time lounging in the pool.

Lucha Libre with Abbie and Ross
While Jacob was in California for work, I went to see a Lucha Libre match with our friends Abbie and Ross. Lucha Libre is a Mexican sport - it's like professional werestling, like WWE in the US. In Lucha Libre the wrestlers (the luchadores) wear masks. The masks are part of their wrestling character and identity. It's a ton of fun! The wrestlers were very entertaining an talented. Although a lot of the talk was in Spanish, so I couldn't understand it when they were talking trash to each other!
